[Workshops] Cai Guo-Qiang “Children Da Vincis” Project
“What’s important isn’t whether you can fly.” —Cai Guo-Qiang
Children will be invited to set their imaginations free and create objects using everyday materials that will be included in Cai Guo-Qiang’s installation at Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art.
Every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday between March 8 and April 26, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

For ages 5 to 10; must be accompanied by guardian (adult participation is limited to observation only)

Lisa Anne Auerbach American Megazine: Mega-Girls
A pair of “mega-girls” wearing knitted sashes by Lisa Anne Auerbach will be turning the pages of American Megazine #1 and American Megazine #2 every weekend starting from March 22.
Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday from March 22 to May 10 at 1:30–2:00 PM and 3:30–4:00 PM
Venue: Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art

Hoefner/Sachs Suujin Park: Community Hall
Visitors will be able to directly enter the Community Hall (“Donated plants and re-used playground material from the former Suujin Elementary School are transformed into a multipurpose gardening architecture and community hall, open for everybody”) portion of Suujin Park by Hoefner/Sachs.
Dates: Every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday from April 25 to May 10 (April 25 and 26, May 2–5, 9 and 10) from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Venue: Areas near the cross streets of Kawaramachi and Shiokoji Streets

Sherpa Tours
These unique tours are planned by the Parasophia Volunteers to share different ways to enjoy the exhibition. Details will be announced at the Volunteers desk at Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art and on the Parasophia Volunteer Center’s website (paravol.jp/en).
Every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday between March 14 and May 10, 2:00 PM– (40–60 min.)
* Sign up to participate starting from 1:00 PM on the day of the tour.

● Sherpas (volunteer mediators) are always available throughout the exhibition space to answer questions or take part in discussions about any particular artwork.
