Parasophia will be presenting the Asian premiere of South African artist William Kentridge’s large-scale installation The Refusal of Time, from February 8 (Sat.) to March 16 (Sun.), 2014 at the former Rissei Elementary School in Kyoto, as a prelude to Parasophia: Kyoto International Festival of Contemporary Culture 2015 (Prelude [Exhibition] William Kentridge: The Refusal of Time). In connection with this prelude exhibition, we will be inviting the artist himself to speak about The Refusal of Time at the historic Ponto-chō Kaburenjō Theater.
